Unfortunately current hospital supplies are not sufficient and while we are reassured the government is doing everything it can. Healthcare workers on the frontline are risking themselves daily without adequate protection to care for sick patients. Healthcare workers on the frontline without Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is the equivalent of going to war without armour and protection. PPE involves face masks, visors, surgical gowns and gloves.
All we ask is for your kind financial contribution, no matter how small, to go towards funding more PPE. To deal with this unprecedented global pandemic.
The time to act is NOW to reduce harm to patients and staff on the frontline. PPE stops us spreading the virus to other patients, protecting non-COVID patients as well as healthcare staff.
It’s not just doctors and nurses – frontline staff include paramedics, porters, cleaning staff, healthcare assistants, catering staff providing meals for patients, physiotherapists. They all need protection!

We ARE however competing with private companies (and sadly, even other health care professionals) who are buying and selling PPE and testing kits privately, selling them for profit and exploiting public fears around coronavirus.

Sayangnya persediaan rumah sakit saat ini tidak mencukupi dan kami yakin bahwa pemerintah melakukan segala hal yang mereka bisa lakukan. Petugas kesehatan di garis depan mempertaruhkan diri mereka setiap harinya tanpa perlindungan yang memadai untuk merawat pasien yang terjangkit Covid-19. Petugas kesehatan di garis depan yang berjuang tanpa memakai Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) , setara dengan pergi berperang tanpa baju besi dan perlindungan. APD melibatkan masker wajah, pelindung, seragam bedah dan sarung tangan.
Harapan kami hanyalah kontribusi donasi dari Anda, tidak masalah sekecil apapun itu, untuk mendanai dan pengadaan lebih banyak APD yang dapat digunakan para pejuang garda depan untuk menangani pandemi global yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya ini.
SEKARANG-lah waktu untuk bertindak untuk mengurangi bahaya pada pasien dan staf di garda depan. APD dapat membantu menghentikan menyebarkan virus ke pasien lain, melindungi pasien “non-COVID” serta staf kesehatan.
Bukan hanya dokter dan perawat – staf garda terdepan termasuk paramedis, portir, staf kebersihan, asisten kesehatan, staf katering yang menyediakan makanan untuk pasien, fisioterapis, mereka semua membutuhkan perlindungan!
